Eboracum Baroque perform Handel’s Semele in the Rectory Garden at Wimpole this Saturday. First performed in 1744 in Covent Garden, Semele contains one of Handel’s most famous arias, ‘Where’er you walk’ for tenor with words from Alexander Pope’s ‘The Pastorals.’
