The July Festival

Fascinator's at the ready! Don't miss the July Festival this weekend in Newmarket - fashion, style, shopping and some of the best flat racing you'll see.

THE MOËT & CHANDON JULY FESTIVAL IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SUMMER RACING SEASON IN NEWMARKET. SOAK UP THE HOTTEST FASHION, TOP-CLASS HORSE RACING, LIVE ENTERTAINMENT AND, HOPEFULLY, GLORIOUS SUNSHINE ON THE ADNAMS JULY COURSE.

This year sees the first Feel Good Friday on 13th July, in partnership with Heart FM. Racegoers will be treated to a range of activities and entertainment including lots of ‘feel good’ surprises throughout the day! TV & Fashion Guru Gok Wan will be co-hosting on the day and will be presenting The Style Awards prize for the most stylish group. Winners of this category will receive fantastic prizes, including a table at the Gok Fashion Brunch 2019, a fabulous group spa day at the Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel, a corporate team building day at The Playground and much more.

Once again, there is high quality racing on the track with the fillies and mares taking centre stage in the Group 2 Duchess of Cambridge Stakes and the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes.

The final day of The July™ is all about the Darley July Cup. This Group 1 Race is one of the most valuable and prestigious sprint races in the world and the winner is often acknowledged to be the best sprinter in Europe. There’s further excitement with the climax of The Style Awards: the Best Dressed Couple competition. Coordinated and stylish partners could be in with a chance of winning thousands of pounds worth of prizes. The competition is free to enter for all racegoers. Saturday is also a great day for families. Kids under the age of 18 are welcome FREE in all enclosures across all three days. There will be entertainment in the Garden Enclosure, including Rowley’s Kids Club, inflatables, face painting and activities to keep the whole family entertained!
