Statement lamps

These statement glass lamps from Dial House Gallery come in different sizes and better still they’re made of recycled glass.

Recycled Glass Lamp, Dial House GalleryHey, can someone put the light on! Can’t beat a statement lamp, or two, to add interest to a console table, sideboard or any other piece of furniture that’s not piled high with filing (is that just me?). These glass lamps from Dial House Gallery come in an assortment of shapes and sizes and better still they’re made of recycled glass – let’s hug that environmentally friendly box. Made in Spain they come with a rather jazzy multi-coloured flex – rather unusual and certainly beats the unsightly white utility ones currently on show chez-moi.

When you have a moment pop down to the gallery and check them out – most are made of clear glass but a few come in a shade of blue or green if you’re after a bit of colour. Prices range from £65 for smaller ones (approx. 29cm high) up to £85 (approx. 43 cm high), which I think is quite a steal – makes buying two quite possible.

Linen lampshades, Dial House Gallery

Also worth a look at Dial House Gallery are the linen lampshades – they work really well sitting on the recycled glass lamp bases and come in various designs, colourways and sizes. There’s art to suit most budgets, interior finds and gifts, jewellery, objet d’art for the garden and a beautiful gift-wrapping service if you’re buying a present.  Well worth a gander, particularly if you’re thinking of going off piste for a wedding present.

Dial House Gallery, is open Wed to Sat, 10- 4pm.  20 East Street, Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire PE28 0HJ. Tel: 07765 665415222.
