Cool, country vibe B&B surrounded by beautiful countryside
Carters Yard is one of the best-kept secrets in Cambridgeshire. Tucked away in the garden of this Grade II 16th century family home this self-catering B&B combines vintage charm with contemporary living.
Located in the historic village of Kimbolton, west of St Neots, the High Street boasts two pubs, an interior shop, flower shop, coffee shops, beauty room and an art gallery for you to have a mooch. It’s surrounded by beautiful countryside to explore and is close to the Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire borders and within easy reach of London.
Carters Yard is split over two levels with a cool country vibe – accessories are sourced from antique markets and auctions. With a vaulted bedroom and bathroom upstairs; downstairs there’s a sitting room, small kitchen and dining area – the B&B sleeps 2 but a cotbed is available for a little one and they will take a dog. Breakfast is enjoyed at your leisure – a delicious breakfast hamper full of seasonal goodies is left outside your door for you to tuck into when you wake. There are a couple of pubs on Kimbolton High Street to choose from as well as various gastropubs and local restaurants in the nearby villages, including The Pheasant at Keyston and The Plough at Bolnhurst.
