Gotta Have It

Contemporary glassware that's functional as well as stylish. These stunning hand blown pieces from Dial House Gallery would impress anyone as a gift

Functionality that looks darn good as well – this hand blown glass is crafted by Benefield Spencer Studio. They’re made over in Northern Ireland (buy British box ticked) but we’re not expecting you to trek over there, you can find them at Dial House Gallery in Kimbolton.  This gallery sells a range of art, antique finds, jewellery, gifts and interior crafts created by local and UK based artists.

They’ve got a definite Conran Shop feel about them and they’ll look stylish gracing your kitchen shelves or just sitting pretty on a centre island.

The vinegarette bottles are one of my faves and the dark balsamic colour contrasts so dramatically with the white of the glass.

The salad dressing bottle could drizzle over my kitchen counter any day of the week .

Storage jars

You can’t have enough storage in your kitchen and these jars offer another practical solution for your coffee granuals. If you’re looking for a special wedding present or gift for someone then this handblown glassware offers something that’s uber stylish but functional that feels like a piece of art at the same time.

Benefield Spencer Studio are new kids on the block and 2017 has been a big year for them not surprisingly.  If you’re into minimalist design then it’s worth checking them out and better still they’re not as expensive as you might think.  Dial House Gallery has a large range on display and prices range from between £24.99 and £36.99 – I think they look more expensive than they actually are.
Dial House Gallery, 20 East Street, Huntingdon, PE28 0HJ, facebook.com (open Wed – Sat, 10am – 4pm).
